In Trust. In Gratitude. In Hope – Opening Event, Concepts, Curation and a Preview of a Stunning Artistic Collaboration

The exhibition – In Trust. In Gratitude. In Hope – beautifully illustrates the connection that exists between the Stradbally Arthouse and the many artists who have stayed, worked and produced pieces here since its inception ten years ago. It’s a wonderful piece of collaborative work created in a time of pandemic, a reaction to the poignancy of the specially commissioned words of Pat Boran’s, The Window Seat.

The exhibition showcases the work of 64 artists working in the locality through a variety of media, from paint to ceramics, sculpture to digital pieces. It’s a must see, and a chance to visit the beautiful gallery in the Stradbally Arthouse.

We’re hope you enjoy this recording from the opening of the In Trust. In Gratitude. In Hope. exhibition which gives a valuable insight into the work that went into bringing the collection together, through inception, curation and execution.

In Trust. In Gratitude. In Hope. the poem that inspired the artworks

The work showcased in our 10th anniversary exhibition In Trust. In Hope. In Gratitude. is inspired by the specially commissioned poem The Window Seat written by Laois-born poet Pat Boran. The artists were asked to create work in response to his poignant words. We look forward to sharing these works and opening our doors to the public on Tuesday 7 Dec (13:00 – 17:00).
